Who this applies to

This policy describes the Profile Snapshot Lab Chrome extension and the Web Agent backend served from this site, including session, ingest, and persona API routes. Together they let you capture a structured snapshot of your own LinkedIn profile and optionally sync it here for storage and optional persona generation.

Data the extension collects or accesses

When you run capture on LinkedIn while signed in, the extension reads visible profile content from LinkedIn pages you open as part of that flow, such as headline, about, experience, education, and skills. That content is shown in the extension popup and may be sent to this backend if you enable sync.

The extension stores some settings locally in your browser, for example whether sync or persona is enabled, and tokens used for anonymous API access to this backend.

Data this backend processes

• API requests — When you use optional sync, normalized snapshot data is received over HTTPS and associated with an anonymous session.
• Persona generation — If you request persona generation, snapshot-derived text is sent from this server to the configured LLM provider via LiteLLM to produce a structured persona response. That provider processes the content under its own terms.
• Technical logs — Hosting and infrastructure, for example Vercel, may log IP addresses, URLs, and timestamps for reliability and security.

Purpose and retention

We use this data only to operate the extension's optional backend features: storing ingested snapshots tied to your anonymous session and generating personas when requested. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use this data for creditworthiness or lending. Retention follows operational needs and database lifecycle for this service. Anonymous session, snapshot, and persona records may be retained until this deployment is reset, trimmed, or manually deleted.

Request-level diagnostics such as request IDs, status metadata, and infrastructure logs may also be retained for debugging and abuse prevention. Contact us if you need deletion where technically feasible for anonymous sessions.

Third parties

LinkedIn is a separate service governed by LinkedIn's terms and policies. LLM inference is performed by the model provider you configure on the server. Hosting providers process requests as described above.
